Over the past 18 years, Robb has purchased, and completed rehabilitation, of ten individual historic commercial properties, and has another seven properties currently undergoing renovations on Oregon’s South Coast.
Robb is a serial entrepreneur, prior to focusing on historic real estate renovation, he started thirteen different companies over 24 years. His experience in collaborating with municipalities, community stakeholders and entrepreneurs has given him an unique understanding of how to see challenging projects to completion while providing attractive, safe and comfortable spaces to live and work.
Robb has served on multiple boards and committees, including Portland Entrepreneurs Organization, Portland Young Presidents Organization, and the Main Street Programs of both Oregon City and Coos Bay.
He currently serves on the South Coast Development Council board, and on the South Coast Regional Housing Action committee.
Robb grew up in Reedsport, and is inspired to help communities on the South Coast grow and prosper through real estate rehab and community development.
Jill Nelson | Owner | manager
Jill Nelson, manager of Opportas LLC, works with her partner Robb Crocker, to purchase, improve and lease up opportunity zone property in Reedsport, Oregon. She leads all of back office functions including accounting and finance. Prior to her role at Opportas, Jill founded Ruby Receptionists (Ruby.com), and grew it to over 630 employees before retiring in 2019.
Under Jill’s tenure as CEO, Ruby held the record-breaking position as an Oregon’s fastest growing companies for 13 consecutive years and was repeatedly named a top 5 place to work in the US by Fortune Magazine. Jill was a Pacific NW 2017 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and was named the 2017 Oregon Technology Executive of the Year—the first woman to receive this recognition in its 31 year history.
Today, Jill is an active angel investor and advisor. She sits on the board of the Board of Trustees of the Legacy Health Foundation, and is an Operating Advisor for Updata Partners. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Oregon.
